    Comments Thread For: Garcia-Peterson, Lee-Quillin: Breadman's Breakdown

The Danny Garcia vs. Lamont Peterson fight is one that hardcore fans have wanted for some time now. Everybody seems really excited for this one. Although Danny Garcia does not have a glossy KO percentage, I think he is one of the biggest punchers in boxing. Garcia is one of the best fighters I have ever seen at punching with an opponent. He actually gives up some defense just to hit you while you are hitting him. He has been able to get away with it because he has an iron chin and a clutch gene to come through in tight spots.

Sweet Bscene picked up some talent in Breadman.

I think the version of Lee that fought Chavez (or Vera rematch) takes any version I've seen of Quillin. There was some shady stuff around the drug testing for Chavez in that fight. Steward & Lee had to make every concession in order to get the fight, and just prior to that was the Rubio fight where again Chavez didn't take the drug test and Rubio ended up getting the title fight vs Spada as compensation.

Speaking with Sky Sports Ringside, Lee said “He 'Chavez Jr' didn’t take a drug test after the fight. They like to take a test before the fight, and the way it worked out there was su****ions whether he even took the test before the fight. And it was a small ring and a very soft canvas. So I found it hard to move, but I’m not making any excuses. I took my chances going down there. I knew the conditions would be tough and it just didn’t work out. That’s the way it goes. In training, I was training with big super middleweights, Edwin Rodriguez, Donovan George, we had Brian Vera in there, Adonis Stevenson. With big gloves and headgear, I was hurting all these guys, holding my own, standing my ground. With him 'Chavez Jr' the punches didn’t seem to. The more I hit him the stronger he seemed to get. There’s a su****ion about him, there really is.”

Breadman is dope. I like the way he breaks down fights but I thought he was doing his thing over at Boxing-Talk.

I also think Peterson vs Garcia will be a close competitive fight but I have Quillin by KO.

I think Bscene is a bigger platform for Breadman than Boxing-talk. Good to see him here! Boxing-talk was Greg Leon's project, but it's pretty much neglected these days as Greg makes money as advisor. Breadman is pretty much the only reason to go there...

I hope Lee ices Quillin. For poetic justice. Dropping a title without a fight, and then not making weight to take it back shouldn't be rewarded with a victory. Fingers crossed for Lee! If Lee wins we might actually see a unification fight with GGG...

Breadman is great at breaking down fights. Just over the past year or so, I remember him picking Algieri over Provodnikov (as a 5-1 dog), Cotto over Martinez (as a 2-1 dog) and countless others. The guy is usually money with his pix

He also picked Stevenson to ko Dawson early.
Anyway, his breakdown of the 2 pbc fights is pretty much on the money
