Comments Thread For: Arum: Mayweather-Pacquiao Ticket Beef is No 5/2 Threat

Promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank is confident that the outstanding problem over the tickets and hotel rooms allocated to Top Rank will be solved, as he assured fight fans that the May 2 showdown between eight division champion Manny Pacquiao and undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not in jeopardy.

Arum told BoxingScene.com/New Standard - “the problem in the term sheet is a problem that will be solved and it will not affect the fight.”

Arum revealed that CBS president and CEO Les Moonves will act as arbitrator in case of a problem and will make a decision right away. Moonves played a big role in making the mega-fight happen. Mayweather has an exclusive deal with CBS/Showtime. [Click Here To Read More]

A Non-issue made public by the senile old man. Arum is screaming at any wagging mic to get back into the picture of this fight. Why he and team pacquiao are craving so much attention these days, I do not know.

Arum knows how to promote. He is always in the headlines with one thing or another just to makesure people keep talking about the fight. All the lies he keeps on talking about how Mayweather is getting busted in sparring and also Freddie Roach's many comments are jut to hype the fight. These 2 are just businessmen. The only thing lacking here is Mayweather's trash talking. It is also frustrating that Floyd has put a limitation on his father such that he cant say many things. (In a way it's understandable because Floyd Sr reveals the game plan when he gets excited)

Pac's team and camp sound in disarray. Hopefully, Pacman will be okay after the beating he gets on May 2nd.

Yep, all over the place. When you've lost the promotional side of the fight, you're left to make up stories to keep your name and company in the news.
