LAREDO, Texas – World ranked Jessie Magdaleno of Las Vegas and up and two-time Mexican Olimpian Oscar Valdez of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico took part in the final press conference for Top Rank's upcoming event in Laredo, Texas - which takes place this Saturday night at the Laredo Energy Center that will be telecast by Unimas in the “Solo Boxeo Tecate” series at 11:00 p.m. (East/Pacific). Magdaleno (20-0, 15 KOs) will take on John Mark Apolinario (18-5-3, 5 KOs) of the Philippines in the main event schedule for eight rounds in the super bantamweight division. Valdez (15-0, 13 KOs) will take on the roughed Jose Ramirez (25-5-3, 15 KOs) of Mazatlan, Mexico in an eight round featherweight bout.
