Comments Thread For: Miguel Cotto-Daniel Geale Now in Play For June?

Sources have told BoxingScene.com that a new contender has emerged to face WBC middleweight champion, Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32KOs). There had been a lot of talk of the likes of Cornelius 'K9' Bundrage and Jorge Sebastian Heiland facing the Puerto Rican star in early June.

But now it seems that Daniel Geale (31-3, 16KOs), who has held portions of the middleweight title twice in the past, is the frontrunner to land this assignment. The date and venue of this fight is still to be determined.

That is a Legit fight. I PICK GEALE. However, Cotto should be fighting the Guy that Just beat Geale.

Oh god just the drop the belts, fight Bundrage. He's coming off an upset win vs a fighter who was respected and seen as a spoiler.

This just keeps getting better and better. Or more and more pitiful. Depends on how you look at it.

Geale is actually a Middleweight so it is Kinda legit. But seeing as he is coming off a loss from a guy a lot of people want to see fight Cotto, it gives me mixed feelings.

I'm okay with this. Much better than Heiland.

Yeah, Golovkin brings nothing to the table. The guy he knocked out in 3, though, what a fight!

I like Geale in this fight. Geale is a good fighter despite what GGG did to him
