Comments Thread For: Amir Khan Not Ruling Out Kell Brook For 2015 Clash

Fellow Briton Kell Brook is another likely opponent in the future for Amir Khan with the Sheffield fighter set to defend his IBF welterweight title against Jo Jo Dan on Saturday night.

Brook has been pursuing Khan for several months, but the Bolton boxer was more motivated to go after some of the bigger names like Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

Should both fighters continue to be successful in the ring, Khan says a showdown with Brook is very possible in the future. Brook recently ruled out a possible fight with Khan for 2015 - with Khan now stating that a year-end fight should not be ruled out.

Brook was his back up plan. Happens on Amir's time.

If this does happen then under IBF rules the financial split favours Brook a 70/30% split. If he doesn't get at least 60/40 then he should turn it down. Khan is not a superstar!

Khan should have fought him by now, then we would be talking about Brook instead of Khan.

After Mayweather, Pacquiao, Khan is the biggest name in welterweight and also has a net worth of $30 million.

Brook isn't Khan's back up plan. Even though Khan brings his name, (which while carrying star weight), offers nothing else in terms of hardware, still believes he's the man. If he fights Ezekiel he knows he gets destroyed and he still wants to partake in an artificial mega event so he ducks Ezekiel for life.
