According to promoter Andrzej Wasilewski, a deal has been reached for mandatory challenger Krzysztof Glowacki (24-0, 15 KOs) to take on WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (38-2-1, 26 KOs). Sad that the four alphabet beltholders at cruiserweight just stay at home and get paid to beat leftovers, has beens and prospects rather than fighting each other. Might be the best example of a division that speaks to the cesspool of current boxing politics, because the four current beltholders could make for some really exciting fights if they fought each other on neutral ground.

            Staying at home, what?
They are going to fight in the U.S.
Neither one of them are Americans

The cruiserweight division does seem like a joke, even by boxing standards. Forgettable match ups and title holders in cruise control make for a division barely worth keeping around.

Supposedly it's headed to Spike TV.

The Polish promoter Wasilewski seems to have a working relationship with Haymon, suggested by picking up this fight, Glowecki is Polish, and the signing of Artur Szpilka.
