  • Comments Thread For: Sauerland Puzzled By Helenius' Timing, Comeback Location

The show goes on for Robert Helenius, who will fight this weekend in Tallinn, Estonia. The unbeaten heavyweight has been stuck on the sidelines for two years – almost to the day – after battling injuries and in recent months with estranged promoter Sauerland Event.

Anxious to move on with his career, Helenius (19-0, 11KOs) opted to take a fight on his own, of the belief that he was no longer legally bound to Sauerland. The move led to a lengthy lawsuit which will still be fought in the courtroom.

The Sauerland mafia simply don´t want to understand. The fact is Robert Helenius is practically a free agent from now on. They could not arrange him fights in 2 years. He has not gotten any salary for 2 years. When he wants to fight they are going to stop him.

Exactly. I´m pretty sure Donovan´s maiden name is Sauerland.

How is it previous? The exact determination from the judge was as follows:
            - Declaration that enough proof of an existing contract for the case to remain in court
            - Not enough evidence for Sauerland to block this weekend's fight

How pathetic their concern of Helenius economics sound like. When they could have paid him years ago.

Sauerland are never going to promote Helenius. Whose translation is that. The original is in swedish and finnish. I read both languages - do you? I have read the decision from the coart, which I am sure the writer of this article never will. If you want to have the court desicion, get it free of charge to your email.

Sauerlands are right. Helenius is wasting his time with such crap-events at crap-locations against crap-opponents. Get back to SE is the best he can do.

I know he has had injuries, promotional beefs etc but i feel Chisora broke his heart. Has not had the same desire or confidence when he went on that rampage against Peter, Liakovich and Brewster. He looked horrible and very pedestrian against Michael Sprott and Sherman Williams.
