Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Ex-Coach: He Must KO Mayweather To Win

American trainer Rick Staheli, who steered eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao to his first world title (the WBC flyweight crown in December 1998) believes Pacquiao has to take chances if he hopes to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. in their mega-fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 2.

Staheli told BoxingScene.com/New Standard/Viva Sports he had no doubt that Pacquiao “is highly motivated and definitely has the desire but he must win by a knockout.”

This is Boxing, Floyd could KO Pac and Pac could win a decision which are the least likely to happen.....but these things happen.

Good plans only exist on paper, once the first shot is fired, a good plan can become a bad one that quick.

              Don't get this logic

PACs most likely method of victory is decision

It's super difficult to ko Floyd

After seeing the punches Floyd took from Mosley and Maidana I give Floyd a good chance of not being KO'd.

He is right Manny's going to have to fight aggressive and pressure but there is mayweather's counter right hand that is 10 times better than marquez. What will be the advantage to manny is Floyd won't want to brawl so if manny can fight aggressively and pressure Floyd into a brawl manny has better chance of scoring a ko but then again Floyd is a great defensive fighter ain't no way manny going to win on the cards roach better have plans abc and D.
