The teams behind WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev and mandatory challenger Youri Kalenga have reached an agreement, which in turn will avoid the purse bid scheduled to be held on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at the headquarters of the World Boxing Association in Panama.
Both parties negotiated and the fight will take place on April 10 in Moscow, Russia, as they both announced.
Lebedev (26-2, 20 KO) is the regular champion under the WBA at cruiserweight and he's held the belt since April 11, 2011. Kalenga (21-1, 14 KO) became the mandatory challenger on June 21, 2014.
