You do not need to pinch yourself any longer.

The fight most boxing fans have wanted for the last five years is indeed happening.

Yes, Floyd Mayweather fighting Manny Pacquiao is happening.

What seemed like a dream (or an afterthought to some), Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, the best fighters of this generation, will face one another on May 2 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Did the fight take too long to make? Probably

the only people dwelling on the past and being sour are pac fans. their whole existence revolved around "floyd is a coward" rhetoric. .now they see their demise approach on may 2 and are scrambling.

As a pac fan, I don't dwell on that ****, but you have to be a blind nut swinging fanboy not to realize that mayweather held out as long as possible...

Again the fight is here so what happened before is in the past, but don't make it sound like this makes it right that mayweather ducked the fight this long...

You're kidding, right? Since his last fight Pac has been calling Floyd out everywhere and ramped up the "Floyd is a coward" talk bigtime. It wasn't until AFTER all of this that Floyd did anything. He was losing face bigtime and had to respond. Don't play like Floyd was not pressured to take this fight.

As far as dwelling in the past...how many times do Floyd fans bring up the '09 negotiations? How many times do they bring up losses from 10+ years ago? How many times has Floyd brought up Pac's past? Both sides bring up old ****. Both sides are sour towards each other.

I think the meeting helped as well. Kudos to Floyd for going over to talk to Manny and for Manny being receptive and continuing the dialogue in the hotel room.
