    CARSON, Calif. - The return of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-1-1, 32 KOs) comes to StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., on Saturday April 18 as the Mexican superstar makes his SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING® debut against exciting brawler Andrzej Fonfara (26-3, 15 KOs) in a 12-round light heavyweight bout, live on SHOWTIME (10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT).

    Tickets for the event, which is co-promoted by Goossen Promotions and Chavez Promotions, are priced at $200, $150, $100, $50 and $25, plus applicable taxes, fees and service charges, go on sale today at 12 p.m. PT and are available for purchase online at AXS.com.

      When he was young I had hopes for him but he has been one of the biggest disappointments of the decade. He seems to lack what it takes.

          Chavez Jr is a joke. I much rather watch HBO's April 18 fight card with Matthysse vs Ruslan. That's a fight of year candidate right there.

                Chavez lacks the discipline or hunger to actually be a top level pro. As a novelty he is A1 though.
