  • Comments Thread For: Adrien Broner Ready For More: I Lived Up To The Hype

Adrien Broner, who plans to return to the ring on June 20th in Cincinnati, beat John Molina in a super-lightweight bout by a unanimous points decision. Former three-division world champion Broner took his record to 30-1, with the judges scoring the fight 120-108, 120-108 and 118-110. Ohio's Broner was a comfortable winner - Californian Molina rarely threatened - but that did not bother him.

“The environment I’m in today, a lot of them were not on my side, but at the end of the day the last time I fought for the crowd I took my first loss. So, no disrespect to everyone that came to see me fight today, I had to do what I had to do to get my victory today," Broner said.

I'm sorry ab was not that impressive just being honest. I haven't seen that flash in him since those hbos days. These guys at 140 and 147 are a lot bigger than him. And coming into the fight I was upset with molina getting this fight.
140 has crawford, lucas, ruslan, herrera, dulorme, postal,Peter son, algeri. Ones of the guys should be next for broner

Just like I think Guererro would be better served by joining TR, I could say the same for Broner. Broner needs the TR stable @ 140, and Guererro needs the TR stable @ 147. Broner really has nothing left @ 140 from Haymon's stable. His only choice is to go back to 147, but it's obvious that his power will not travel to 147, and I haven't seen it since he left 135.

                  Garbage.......

....utter garbage. The night of free fights underwhelmed at best. I see Garcia and a host of others dominating Broner. He should have waded in and wiped Molina out. I see him staying away from Mathysse for sure. Broner is a B fighter.

                  Thurman a B+ fighter.

If this is the best Haymon can do at match making he best go away.
