Comments Thread For: Thurman Ready For Brook, Says Khan is Overrated

Keith Thurman wants to take on Kell Brook in the United Kingdom - and believes Amir Khan is 'over-rated'.

The WBA world welterweight champion is taking on Robert Guerrero in Las Vegas on Saturday night and is likely to be the mandatory challenger to the winner of Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao.

Thurman believes Khan has not done enough in the 140lbs division to be at the front of the queue after May 2, and is more than happy to take on Brook.

I like Thurman but he needs to be aware of Guerrero. He is no bum. He can say all he wants but Guerrero is his biggest test and can definitely beat One time. Khan needs to fight Brook next and I think he will. If anyone needs to prove anything it's Thurman. His best wins are Soto Karass and Chaves. They are decent wins but that's about it.

Khan has achieved so much more than Thurman has and ever will. One Time needs to concentrate on his fight Ghost before he goes running his mouth off.

Khan couldn't beat Soto Karass nor Deigo Chavez. He does need to make a statement to be in line for his biggest payday (that he really doesn't deserve).
Porter would stop Khan easily and Khan's afraid of the makeover from Brooks. Brooks would take Khan's fake identity in the European boxing world.

You cannot actually believe that. I refuse to believe that someone can actually think that.

He needs to worry about the Ghost rather than planning ahead
