Golden Boy Promotions founder Oscar de la Hoya was serious when he promised to go all in for the upcoming 'L.A. Fight Club' series.
The inaugural show under the refreshed format will be play before a sold-out crowd this Friday, March 6 at Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Headlining the show, rising unbeaten prospect Joseph Diaz Jr. takes on Mexico's Juan Luis Herandez in a scheduled 10-round featherweight clash.
Both fighters were on point during Thursday's weigh-in. Diaz (14-0, 9KOs) tipped the scales at a ripped and ready 124 lbs, while Hernandez (17-4-1, 9KOs) came in at a lean 122.6 lbs.
