Comments Thread For: Robert Helenius in Full Training For March 21 Return

The Nordic Nightmare, Robert Helenius (19-0), is in full training for his comeback March 21 in Tallinn (Estonia). Helenius spent the weekend sparring with Icelandic heavyweight Gunnar Kolbeinn Kristinsson (1-0). Who Helenius will fight is going to be announced on Thursday.

As for the contractual dispute with Sauerland Event, Team Helenius feel they are out of the contract and it's simple as that. This is something Sauerland strongly disagree with, but if they actually can prevent Helenius from fighting is a different thing. There´s most likely more to come on this.

Sauerland need to let Helenius get on.

Will be great to see Helenius back in the ring. Hope he can stay injury free.

Such a shame this fighter has been out for so long due to injuries and what not. Look at the hype Wilder, Jennings and Fury have now. All three aren't bad fighters or anything but none of these looked anywhere near the level Helenius was at after utterly destroying former world champs Brewster, Peter and Liakhovich in brutal fashion around 2011. Back then Helenius looked like being able to give Klitschko a serious challenge in a year or two before succuming to injuires and getting fcuked by his promoter.

Another one to throw into the Heavyweight mix. The division is really heating up. There'll be a proper scrap for dominance post-Wlad.
