The upcoming 130 lb. title tilt between Orlando Salido and Roman Martinez now has a leading chief support. Event handlers announced a 10-round lightweight clash between previous title challengers Jose 'Chelo' Gonzalez and Sharif Bogere.
Both bouts will appear on an independent Pay-Per-View telecast, airing live from Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The rest of the card will be announced in the coming weeks.
"We added this good fight between Chelo Gonzalez and Sharif Bogere for a WBO regional title on this show. This is a good match between two ranked boxers looking to for a world opportunity," said Peter Rivera, vice president of Puerto Rico Best Boxing Promotions, who will handle the show locally in association with Zanfer Promotions, Salido's promoter.
