Hopefully, they can make this happen. Gonzalez is one of the most underappreciated fighters in boxing. I hope the fans will accept his skillset and not dismiss him because of his size.

Good news but from the looks of it.. We may not see an Estrada rematch anytime soon .

Anyway, I'm a bit confused. So he's going up to Super Fly for his next fight but then dropping for the Chokchai vs Sosa winner in May? Then going back up to face Naoya perhaps in the end of the year? Damn, best of luck to him... He took some fights to adjust to Fly and even now he is displeased with his speed, but now he wants to Yoyo between a heavier weight and his current one? Idk..

Probably so he can maintain his title.

I see. Well, he has a tough schedule ahead of him this year. Either Sosa or Nawaphon are a good challenge but he should handle either the vet or prospect at this point in their careers.

I know he's extremely active so I figure he'll dip back into SF in summer to adjust and settle in a bit more before heading into Naoya. Then if all else fails and his SF campaign doesn't go well, he has the lineal and Wbc straps at Fly to cushion his fall.
