Comments Thread For: Abrahram-Stieglitz is Ordered For a Fourth Time

The WBO have made ex-champion Robert Stieglitz the mandatory challenger for super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham, thus setting up a fourth fight between these two. Abraham leads 2-1 in the trilogy.

SES and Sauerland have now entered a period of negotiations. If no deal is reached there will be a purse bid ordered, and after that there´s 90 days to stage the fight.

SES won the purse bids for Stieglitz vs Abraham III (when Stieglitz was champion) with an offer 3,135,000 USD. And following that, Abraham won a close, split decision after 12 heated rounds of boxing in March of 2014.

Noooooooo we are waiting Abraham vs Sturm by so many years in Europe. Sturm looked good vs Stieglitz in last fight, he impressed me watching him so strong, confidence as supermiddleweight vs a tough, strong long time supermiddleweight former world champion as Stieglitz is. Anyway Abraham vs Stieglitz trilogy is good so probably also this fourth fight. I couldn't wait for Abraham vs Sturm, so many bad blood..... DAMN I HAVE TO WAIT A LITTLE MORE TIME AGAIN.

I reckon he'll get some step aside Money and a guaranteed shot at the Sturm-Abraham Winner.

Sad, and no one says anything - At least Hearn fly's in fighters and let's his fighters fight abroad, Abraham has not fought in the states since the Super 6 ??? They have him fighting against ranked tomato cans - Saurland is going to grandfather that belt to its next in line - no real Champs even mention his belt or him would like to see Abraham against GGG - i think that would be a good fight to get GGG'S feet wet at a higher weight division..

... Abraham vs Stieglitz will be the only fight in Wurstlandia for many years to come.

Is this the equivalent of Raymi/Prince Maz rivalry?

How the f does Abraham get ordered to fight Stieglitz again when Stieglitz didn't even fight in an eliminator, let alone win his last fight, let alone win against a WBO Top 15 fighter prior to that.

Seriously, I hope Arthur just finishes off what he did to Stieglitz in the 12th round of their last fight and lays him out. I'm so sick of hearing, seeing, or even having to think about Robert Stieglitz.
