  • Comments Thread For: Fury To Klitschko: Take Notice, a New King in 2015!

Heavyweight star Tyson Fury has vowed to make it a short night’s work when he meets dangerous German Christian Hammer next weekend.

The European and WBO International Heavyweight Champion, who is the mandatory challenger for Wladimir Klitschko’s world crown, was speaking during a media workout at his gym in Bolton, ahead of his February 28th showdown at London’s O2 Arena .

Undefeated Fury, who has an impressive 17 knockouts from his 23 wins, is looking to add another victim to his record in the shape of Hammer, though despite gunning for a knockout is refusing to underestimate the 27-year-old, who is unbeaten since 2010.

Well Fury is the most marketable bum that Wilder can knockout on his way to Klitschko.

But It might be better for Wilder to fight someone who can stay some rounds with him. With Fury you just have another sub-4 round KO that doesn't do much for his Klitschko preparations.

As long as Wlad is fighting, Tyson will never be king, but regardless of whether Wlad is fighting or not, Tyson remains the joker, and it is an act that's already stale.

Unifications take precedence and I'd much rather see Wlad face Wilder who has unquestionable power, something someone is gonna need to beat the champ. Fury can shout all he likes about fighting Klitschko next but I doubt we'll see it until 2016 personally, Fury simply just isn't in the champs plans right now. K2 will pursue the WBO to ask for an exemption so they can negotiate with Wilder after this upcoming defence. Fury will have to wait his turn, he should milk his career for its worth whilst he still can, as the myth will be well and truly shattered upon getting in the ring with the finest heavyweight in over a decade.
