  • Comments Thread For: Groves Feels Hearn is Nervous Over DeGale Facing Dirrell

George Groves is questioning the confidence level of promoter Eddie Hearn, who wants to get Groves in the ring for a rematch with Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale. A few years ago, Groves defeated DeGale by way of a close decision.

Both fighters are mandatory challengers to world titles at super middleweight. Groves is the mandatory to WBC champion Anthony Dirrell. And DeGale is in line to face brother Andre Dirrell for the vacant IBF title which Carl Froch vacated last week.

Ugly Kid is giving himself a backhanded compliment here without even realising it.

Yeah I'm sure Hearn is worried about Andre Dirrell because he's a top quality fighter. He'd rather secure your bum ass for an easy KO

We all know Ugly Kid wants no part of DeGale.

      It would be a massacre.

Am I the only one who thinks that this "ugly kid" nickname sounds pretty gay? Sorry, no offense, but really... I mean... Who the hell cares about his outlook, or this name has a history what I don't know yet?

Andre Dirrell was the most talented boxer in the super six, he's the only one who stood a good chance of beating Ward. He is extremely talented, more so than his brother. His heart might be questionable but his skill set isn't.

I don't think he can beat either to be honest!

Could we please just cut to the chase & have DeGale/Andre & Groves/Anthony. The hype is really getting a tad boring now!

Yes 'ugly kid' is the ****test bit of banter ever, it was embarrassing when Degale used it and he even he must've realised cause I haven't heard him use it in a long time.

Groves-Degale 2 would be a fight worth watching, but the build up would be non stop cringe cause of both of them.

A motivated Dirrell takes both Groves and Degale to school.
