Khan's best win was Alexander who is definitely a very accomplished name in the game and the fact he won all 12 rounds or worst case 11 was only makes it that much better.
Maidana will be by all time favorite. Khan proved a lot that night. (wipes a tear).Last edited by Box-Office; 02-07-2015, 09:40 PM.Comment

So much love for Rigo over Donaire, definitely Rigo's best win thus far.
Naoya Inoue's savage beat down of Omar Narvaez. Going into the fight I had my doubts since Narvaez is a wily veteran of the sport. The way he was obliterated in dos rounds made me reconsider life itself... Naoya Inoue's masterful performance and incredible feat at 8 fights is breathtaking.Comment

Maidana whupping Broner.
Watching Broner run out of the ring crying like a girl. Just beautiful.Comment

Estrada over Viloria. He really beat Viloria up on the inside during the second half of the fight.
Mayweather over Corrales.
Martinez over Pavlik.Comment

Rigo's win over Santa Cruz. The way Rigo has forced Leo to denounce his Mexican heritage, and change his gender from male to female in front of the entire boxing world is as great a victory that you can achieve in or out of the ring.Comment

If I say it was a Mayweather fight, some people are going to wonder how that is possible, knowing how I feel about Mayweather.
So here is the situation, I was a huge fan of Mayweather for over 10 years going back to the Olympics. So, this would be in retrospect since at the time, it still outweighs any of my actual active fighters wins today. My pick, the Mayweather/Corrales fight. Same as Big Dunn's pick.
I picked the round it would end and I said that Corrales would not be able to hit the backside of a barn with a bag of rice. I nailed that one.
But before the fight, I argued for a month with a racist guy with the username RFPROBOX. His name was Rick Farris. I argued with him about Leonard, Mayweather, and Jones. He hated black fighters to the point of twisted bias and I called him on his racial bias and it finally got to the point where I was willing to give up my AOL account in a bet and told him to put up or shut the *** up, I was tired of his obvious racism toward black fighters. He said Leonard was not even a top 100 welterweight and over time I realized that came from his bias.
When he said Jones was ducking Ruiz. I said, not only was Jones going to fight Ruiz, he was going to beat him. Rick was arrogant and denied that would happen. I said, okay, we will bet our AOL accounts! And he never showed up on the boxing message board again. He stayed true to our agreement. He was once a boxer with something like a 7-10 or 6-3-2 record, depending on the source, something like that.
So, yeah, Mayweather/Corrales because of the fight and Mayweather being one of my favorite fighters and also for being the starting point for me being able to rid the boxing board of a racist which culminated in the Jones/Ruiz fight.
I heard RFPROBOX wrote articles for a boxing web site or two. But I have no interest in reading articles from someone who is racist so I did not offer up any page hits at the time.Last edited by richardt; 02-07-2015, 11:43 PM.Comment
