Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya says an all-Mexican battle between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is now an impossible fight to make - because Chavez has moved up by so many weight divisions in the last two years.
At one point the two boxers were only six-pounds apart, with Canelo fighting at junior middleweight and Chavez being a WBC champion at 160-pounds. Chavez started struggling to make 160-pounds in early 2014 and soon made it known that he would start campaigning at super middleweight.
