  • Comments Thread For: Team Rigondeaux: Santa Cruz a Coward, Ran To Haymon!

Guillermo Rigondeaux's manager, Gary Hyde, is furious over the recent development involving WBC super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz.

Hyde and Rigondeaux's promoter, Caribe Promotions, were on board to stake the Cuban's WBA/WBO title in a unification with Santa Cruz. Even Santa Cruz's promoter, Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions, told BoxingScene.com two weeks ago that a Santa Cruz-Rigondeaux unification was at the top of his agenda.

It was obvious Leo had no intention on fighting him when he requested $3mil for the bout. That's saying that you don't want the fight without literally saying that you don't want the fight.

Lsc is a prized possession for haymon that he would like to build his brand on, can't have him getting embarrassed by rigo in the ring.

Chicken , joke , coward , ha ha ha . Where is that " warrior spirit " . This guy is a shame , if I were from his country , I would never root for him , never .
Rigondeaux , the most avoided fighter in his division and the 2 , behind golovking at 154 ... Coward , pantycruz , santachicana.

Hit and not be hit .
