"So he gained a little weight" This kid Walters is probably a light welterweight squeezing down to featherweight, he's 28 so he won't be able to squeeze down for much longer, I'd bet he could fight at 140 right now with no problem

Is it just me, or do boxer seem to get "the flu" or "an illness bug" at a much higher rate than the average population?

I haven't been sick in like 10 years. Worst I've gotten was like a little head cold and sniffles for 2-3 days, but nothing to stop me from working out.

i had the flu two months ago and i was OUT for a week. took two whole weeks to get right again.

Not saying i believe the excuse, but sometimes it can put you down something serious.
