Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Wilder-Fury is Most Exciting at Heavyweight

Promoter Frank Warren admitted he would drop the Christian Hammer fight tomorrow if an agreement could be reached for Tyson Fury to meet WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, calling a potential meeting "the biggest" after holding initial talks with the American's team.

"I had a conversation last night but it is early days," said Warren.

Fury gets done in early..he'll be talking like stiverne but way to soft for wilder..wilder is a new breed..to much speed power and agility..only fury has a chance is to get inside..but wilder will be boming away as he does so..

Why would he get inside of a guy who's shorter and has a 3" shorter reach than him as well as a significantly worse jab?

IMO the four best heavies, Wlad, Povetkin, Fury and Wilder could really make some interesting fights between them.

          excl. Wlad-Povetkin of course.

              A rematch would be nice.

So FW would cancel the Hammer fight if Fury/Wilder is signed. B/S if Fury gets beat by Hammer then he's not #1 contender & doesn't deserve a World title fight. Keep the Hammer fight & keep Fury active for a June/July Wilder clash!

I agree. Fury should beat Hammer convincingly instead of looking past an upcoming opponent. He isn't really in the position to do so. His Chisora win was convincing but he should beat Hammer too before looking for the big fights.

I thought that Mick Hennessy was Fury's promoter, not Warren?
