Comments Thread For: Khan: If No Mayweather, I Can Target Bradley or Marquez

British star Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) is still waiting for an answer after handing WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. a five day deadline to present him with an answer for a potential fight on May 2nd.

There are very serious discussions taking place to make a fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao, also for May 2nd. While reports are suggesting a deal is close, Khan doubts the fight will happen.

Thurman is waiting patiently and readily available, why don't Khon get some?

Khan obviously wants no part of Kell Brook, a fight against Brook in England will enable him to make way more money than a fight with either Bradley or Marquez, also Bradley and Marquez don't have any belts at 147, whereas Brook is the IBF champion, Khan's focus should be on Brook and nobody but Brook. If he beats Brook for the title then a fight against Mayweather or Pacquiao will make a lot of sense plus he will have much more leverage in negotiations which will enable him to get a bigger piece of the pie. If he fights Mayweather now as a challenger, he'll make max. 2 million, but if he beats Brook and get a lot of attention doing it, he can make more than 5 million fighting Mayweather in a unification fight.

If Floyd Mayweather would've done what Khan is doing right now, everbody would've called him a coward

Either fight is an interesting matchup
I'd like to see Khan vs Marquez

Brook or marquez, both good fights for. I see him beating marquez with brook it's 50-50.
But brook is busy in the spring.

Holy ****, thats a great fight.

Back to Khan, Bradley is also a good fight. Marquez may be a tough style/fighter for Khan. Coupling his new found KO power with his patience and timing, I would bet heavily on Marquez getting the TKO win.

Khan facing a P4P fighter in any instance.I am more curious about Bradley ; hes been to the UK and has had personal confrontation with Amir that absorbed my interest.I feel Khans style is not suitable for Marquez -- interested either way.
