Former EBU light middleweight champion Bruno Visintin has passed away at the age of 83 in La Spezia (Italy). Visintin won a bronze in the Helsinki Olympics in 1952 and turned pro compiling a 78-9-2 record fighting until January 1 1966 when he lost the EBU title to Swede Bo Hogberg in Copenhagen - the only fight he lost inside the distance.
