Wladimir Klitschko’s long-awaited return to a boxing ring in the United States just might come with a longer wait than anticipated.

The reigning heavyweight king is deep into negotiations for an April 25 title defense versus unbeaten contender Bryant Jennings. The fight is targeted for Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, which would mark Klitschko’s first fight in the U.S. since a 12-round decision over Sultan Ibragimov in their Feb. ’08 heavyweight title unification bout at a sold-out Madison Square Garden in New York City.

SMH Jennings Wlad is not a good enough fight to push the date back. If they don't want the fight on the 25th IMO Wlad should fight someone else on the 25th and just fight Jennings on another date.

Torn on this one. On one hand I know Jennings is not ready for a Wlad clash yet (will he ever be?). On the other hand, who else is there for Wlad to fight outside of Fury right now? I guess if Jennings thinks he is ready he should go for it. I'm sure Roc Nation has other plans at this point.
I always wanted to see the Stiverne Wilder winner face Jennings and then that winner face the Wlad-Fury winner but this IS boxing I'm talking about here...
