As reported earlier today on BoxingScene.com, Carl Froch has revealed that negotiations over his dream showdown with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in Las Vegas are nearing completion. WBA and IBF super-middleweight champion Froch has sought a meeting with Chavez Jr since stopping George Groves for the first time in November 2013 and is now confident that promoter Eddie Hearn will deliver the fight.

I don't doubt him at all. I'd say he is going rearrange JCC Jr's face. If Hopkins were to fight once more I'd say Froch would be a decent fight.

nah, bhop would handle our man easily. if froch wants to call it on a win then this fight but, if hes prepared to take a chance fight that overated ward fellah again. chavez is just a big name, "jr" means fack all...infact, daddy only lost when he faced decent opps and even then it was robbery in his favour most of the time. sweet pea done him up like a kipper and frankie randal exposed how 5h1t he was at elite level...and look at frankie randal!!

Lol Froch would devasatate Chavez Jr.

Chavez only wins if he lands picture perfect shots, if the fight is at 168 he won't be as powerful as he thinks he is especially against a tank in Froch.

Only thing is Froch won't KO Chavez Jr. with one punch so Froch will be catching leather every now and then but still landing his own shots.

Its an "immovable object vs unstoppable force" sort of fight
