Former heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs created a lot of headlines in 2014. He was stalking after WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko in every way possible. Briggs crashed press conferences, media workouts, weigh-ins and even confronted Klitschko as he ate in a restaurant and enjoying himself in a Florida lake.

Briggs feels he set a high standard for hyping up a fight and wonders if the biggest fight in boxing, between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., can be made if the Filipino star takes his pursuit to the next level. Pacquiao has been more vocal as of late, calling Mayweather out on a regular basis via the social networks.

Pacquiao probably does not want to come off an a complete idiot the way Briggs did. Hyping up the fight is fine, but the way he went about it was moronic and quite pathetic. Pacquiao is doing it his own way.

Just imagine Pacquiao showing up to Floyd's media workouts or press conferences saying "Wherever you go I go! Whatever you eat I eat! Let's go champ!!!" And saying it in a Filipino accent, that would be freaking hilarious! No way does the fight not happen then

The easiest way to get the fight is for Manny to sign the contract thats in front of him instead of always making a counter offer , just accept he is the B side and sign , he can be the A side in a rematch if he wins .
