Comments Thread For: Petr Petrov-Hank Lundy Set For ESPN FNF Card

Philadelphia, PA--On Friday night, January 16, a mouthwatering title fight has been added as the second co-main event of a championship night of boxing at the Turning Stone Resort Casino and live on ESPN's Friday Night Fights.

Petr Petrov will defend his NABA & NABO Lightweight titles against the popular Hank Lundy in a 10-round bout.

The fight is promoted by Banner Promotions and Classic Entertainment and Sports (CES) Boxing.

The fight will join the previously announced co-main event that will pit NABA & NABO Middleweight champion Willie Monroe Jr. defending his belts against Bryan Vera.

Quick turnaround for Lundy, I wonder if it'll effect his performance. This is a great fight for FNF though.

I don't understand this. If he was going to fight Zlaticanin for a title eliminator then what happened that now he'll be facing Petrov?

I'll have to check his IG. I've been a fan of his for a while, I wish he would be less stereotypical Philadelphian because he has a nice skill set, but he's like Amir Khan in a way where he will go into warrior mode too easily and leave himself vulnerable/exposed.

I think the Beltran fight was the worst thing to happen in his career because it took him four attempts to make weight and it was a back-and-forth trade kind of fight. I know if Lundy had come better prepared he would have won that fight and taken less possible long-term damage.
