Both sanctioning bodies involved (IBF and WBO) agreed to make their titles available for this fight, rather than sanction separate vacant title fights, in the latest of a series of moves suggesting the alphabets are finally trying to do right by the sport.
lol so handing out two freebie titles to a guy that just lost them is "doing right by the sport" lol. Nope it's just that unwavering, all too alluring smell of that fat japanese wallet opening.
So putting an unknown domestic Japanese caliber guy like Odaira in a "world" title fight is doing the right thing for the sport? Some of these idiotic sportswriters are as big a problem as the alphabet organizations.
