  • Comments Thread For: Fury: I'll KO Klitschko, Unify With Wilder or Stiverne

Tyson Fury is Wladimir Klitschko's mandatory challenger but the Briton doubts whether the Ukrainian has the courage to face him as he fears being knocked out.

Fury took part in a training camp with Klitschko in Austria in 2010 when the IBF, WBA and WBO super heavyweight champion was preparing to face another Briton in Dereck Chisora.

Chisora lost that rearranged fight in 2012 and was beaten convincingly by Fury last month in a contest where a mandatory challenge to Klitschko's WBO title was at stake.

Fury, who is expected to fight a to-be-confirmed opponent at London's O2 Arena on February 28, does not expect Klitschko to go through with the bout.

        He'll sell the fight.

Wladimir will have another big payday like he had against Haye and Povetkin.

Whether Fury would KO Klitschko is debatable but what seems like less of a question is who Klitschko's next opponent will be. He has already showed interest in facing serious underdog Bryant Jennings which would almost guarantee Klitschko a victory. He probably doesn't have a whole lot of fights left and it's very doubtful, as Fury suspects, that Klitschko will take a fight that presents any kind of risk unless he is forced to by the WBO at the cost of relinquishing his title. Even if that happens, and Klitschko refuses to take on his mandatory challenger, he would still have the IBF and WBA titles. Boxing rankings and title eliminators are a joke and the punchline is having 4 different WORLD titles in the same weight class.

Wilder or Stiverne present more of a danger for Wladimir than Fury.

He's always good to listen to though.

Is Great Britain the land of blowhards? It sure seems that way.

Fury is an imbecile. And does anyone fact check or proof read these article before they're posted on boxingscene?

It's laughable to even consider Wladimir a ducker of any kind with his track record. I mean the guy has fought and easily beaten the no. 1 contender 3 times since 2011. Nobody else in boxing can say that.
