Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya is really bothered with the fact that Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs) wasted his time sitting on the sidelines with the belief that he was going to receive a shot at WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs).

Khan thought he was going land Mayweather this past May, and he was so sure of the fight that he canceled a planned fight with Alexander for last December. Instead, Mayweather fought Maidana. Then Khan thought he was going to get Mayweather in the fall and once again Mayweather decided to fight Maidana. Khan faces Alexander on Saturday night in Las Vegas. If he wins, De La Hoya will try to get him Mayweather.

You need to read between the lines. This is Oscar's way of preparing us. Shortly in to the new year, De Le Hoya is going to announce that Floyd Mayweather is fighting Khan. Mark my words. And then Oscar can go on about how much Khan deserves it, but really it's about Floyd being too afraid to fight Pacman. Floyd only fights guys he knows he can't beat.

STFU Oscar, you ain't Shaeffer. Nothing you says has any bearing when it comes to a Mayweather fight. Hell Khan may not even be a GB fighter after this year so you will be in the dark about this just as you have been with every other fight this year.

Hopkins made the Kovlev fight, everything up to and including Canelo/Lara was Shaeffer, and any other GB card have really been Haymon cards, they just use your licences. Worthless ass Oscar
