Comments Thread For: Rosado Says Orbital Bone Was Broken in Third Round

David Lemieux was impressive Saturday, punishing Gabe Rosado from the opening bell to the merciful end.

But the beating really took over in Round 3, when Rosado's eye closed shut. From that point on, Dr. Barry Jordan consistently checked Rosado between rounds, asking how many fingers he was holding up. Rosado now says that eye suffered real damage.

Rosado is a tough ass dude, man. He's gotta take some easy fights if he continues to fight.

IF he ever takes a "top" fight again.... I think the best fight for him and a decent matchup would be Rosado-Mora.

I was there live. Man, the crowd respond and love rosado. Great fight. Rosado is a good fighter, just can't catch a break. Hard to see him get another big fight. Should continue on bkb which also pays well. Made 90k for the vera fight

When it happened live I had a feeling his orbital bone got broke just because of the way it closed so rapidly. Man tough break for rosado.

Rosado is gonna have to take it easy. At least take a year off, no more hard fights. He just came off a string of champions and rising contenders.

I don't know why NOBODY can notice yet. I'm a coach. And Rosado fights or to be more specific. Throws punches like a sparring partner.

The guy fights like he's sparring. He is a tough guy that takes punishment. But ANYONE will tell you. In boxing, Tough guys don't win fights.

He has fought some real solid, good opponents. And he can go the distance. But again, somewhere along the line someone should teach him to stop fighting like he's sparring. Maybe it's too late.

He has soft skin for a boxer. He gets swollen up and cut way too easily.
