Last week WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson and former champion Jean Pascal fired shots back and forth at each other here on Boxingscene.com. Stevenson called Pascal an undercard fighter and scoffed at the notion of a 50-50 purse split. Pascal Promotions CEO Greg Leon responded back by questioning, among other things, the intelligence and business acumen of Stevenson.

He's kind of got a small point. It's not like networks are knocking down Pascals door. It's easy for Stevenson to take a hard line now because he already has a fight on the books against whoeverda****. If he wants to keep any kind of leverage he needs to look spectacular.
