Ian Green starts pro career with TKO1
Middleweight Ian Green won his pro debut last weekend in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Green (1-0) scored a first-round TKO over Rick Morias (1-3). In front of a packed crowd, Green showed excellent maturity and pose as Morias started aggressively. But it became apparent early on that Green would prevail. He floored Morias three times, first with a right uppercut very early on in the first round, a second time with a combination of punches, and finally, Green put an official end to the bout with a flurry that knocked Morias down yet again. "Green was throwing so fast I don't even think Morias even knew what hit him until he went down," said Chris Oliveras, a general partner with Green’s management company, Kran Sports.
