Or is he purposely trying to look bad against C opponents to convince future opponents they have a fighter's chance? he made a smart decision to look bad against maidana and got 30 million TWICE against an easy opponent

Idiot, why would Floyd try to look bad against Maidana? He's clearly old and not able to use his legs as well as he used to.

according to most on here , canelo was a beast that floyd would never step in the ring with because he might lose his 0 ........

Maidana deserve credit in the way he fought Mayweather. That aside its evident that Mayweather is losing a lot of little little things that made him great.

Canelo Alvarez walked into their fight at 170, with natural size, youth, and punching power all in his favor. Hindsight is what it is, but Mayweather-Alvarez was seen as just about as dangerous a fight that Floyd Mayweather could take. And that's just restricting things to recent history.

Genaro Hernandez was supposed to be a tough fight for him, Diego Corales was supposed to be too dangerous for Floyd Mayweather, taking on the Ring lightweight champion (Jose Luis Castillo) in his first fight at 135 wasn't expected to be too easy, Carlos Baldomir was supposed to be simply too big for Mayweather, and Floyd was supposed to be far too small to compete with Oscar and Alvarez at junior middleweight.

Going by the accompanied gif, I'd wish you to ask the same question about Pacquiao.

yeah but he's also adding a lot of new things to compensate. pillow gloves, biased refs, nonstop clinching, football field sized rings.
