Comments Thread For: Stiverne-Wilder Clash Coming Together For Early 2015

There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel in the ongoing stretch of negotiations between heavyweight titlist Bermane Stiverne and unbeaten challenger Deontay Wilder. While terms have not yet been finalized, members from both camps have confirmed that the fight is likely to take place in early 2015.

ESPN.com reported a targeted date of January 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. However, those with knowledge of the situation merely recognize it as one of at least two potential fight dates.

If Wilder is gonna be the American Heavyweight that takes over the WORLD then he needs to take care of Stiverne in grand style, just KO the man.

Then step up and challenge Klitschko and we will see what we will see mangas

Boxing gets a shot in the arm if Wilder wins. I haven't been this excited for a Heavyweight fight in a long time.

      WAR BRONZE BOMBER!

I got wilder by ko. People say he fights alot of bums blah blah blah, but fail to understand his back story. The only reason he started boxing was cuz of his daughter, who was born with a spinal disease. With just 26 amateur fights, he qualified for the olympics and was the only american to win a medal. A bronze medal, hence the nickname, the bronze bomber. He turned pro early and although his competition has been weak in the beginning, he has to learn how to box on the fly as well. His power is the real deal. Like they say,"It's something you're not taught. You're born with it." His chin maybe shaky, but so is wlad's and some fighters take punches better the more they fight. Stiverne likes to lay back, put the earmuffs on and looks to counter punch. If he does that against wilder, he's gonna go

"Long before he lost his mind".....lol Mr.Jake-N-DaBox, kudos!.....

I go with Wilder on this one too but Stiverne is no walk in the park....the man can punch!....so Stiverne winning is definitely not out of the question, these ARE HEAVYWEIGHTS after all...

With the history of Don King I wonder why any fighter would ever deal with him, won't they ever learn to stay far, far away from him?
