Comments Thread For: Joshua: Pulev Better Than Povetkin, But Klitschko Wins

Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua, who is fast becoming a rising force in the heavyweight division, expects WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko to retain his title with a twelve round decision victory over mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev in Hamburg, Germany.

Joshua credits the undefeated Pulev with being a better overall fighter than Alexander Povetkin, who also won a gold medal in the Olympics and went the distance with Klitschko last year in an ugly fight.

Wilder isn't even mediocre. He boxes the way NCAA wrestlers box when they switch to MMA. He's raw as hell but I guess he has time to learn.

Povetkin is better than Pulev overall but Pulev is closer in size and range to Wlad.

Joshua is very promising for the future. At the very least he will be a multi-time title challenger after Wlad retires.

My top three right now is Wlad, Povetkin, Pulev in that order. After that any mix of anybody who's stepped up much of Fury, Jennings and Stiverne. But Wilder and Joshua I got hopes for. Joshua farther away from the top but already think he's much better.

If Glazkov didn't keep having rough nights he shouldn't have and always looked like he did with Adamek and Hamer, I'd say Glazkov too. But he's too inconsistent. When he's good he's really good though.

Don't be silly! As soon as Wilder gets hit flush on the chin, you're going to see how good he really is.

Wilder is like a devastatingly powerful nuke with no targeting system or launch pad. Only able to destroy something useless standing in front of it, but when he does he absolutely vaporises it.

Pulevs Opposition has been far better, he earned his shot unlike Wilder.
