Gamboa looked very sharp against Crawford ,one thing he lacked that night was patience . He engaged in a dog fights against bigger stronger puncher at times when he should have disengaged by jabbing and boxing on the move . He stood and traded blows letting Crawford control the tempo of the fight. Maybe he was egar to be in the ring (finally) or maybe he thought he could come up on top trading blows with a bigger guy . From what I saw that was the cause of him lossing . Poor game plan + lack of patience . I can only hope he does things different in the future . One thing you can't say is his fight are boring .

WAR GAMBOA!!! Earned a hell lot of respect for him during the Crawford fight, I actually didn't like him at all before it. The way he handled the Rios fight, the way he was boxing and retreating more than ever in his past few fights... But that all changed the night of the Crawford fight.

Gamboa fought like a goddamn warrior, like he made me stand up and be on war mode in front of the TV. I was hyped as hell jumping and screaming. He's got my full support as long as he fights it out like he did that night.

Good post. I think he became too careless because he was so successful early in the fight. Credit to crawford though he made a great adjustment and was able to time him coming in. He's too short and has horrible reach for 135, but he's extremely skilled and should have success at 130
