  • Comments Thread For: Kenny Anderson's Two Year UKAD Ban Has Expired

Kenny Anderson's two-year UKAD ban expired at midnight on Friday, leaving the former British Super middleweight champion free to resume his career. Anderson, 18-1 (13), was sanctioned after testing positive for amphetamines following his fifth-round TKO win over former WBC world titlist Robin Reid in October 2012. He also had to forfeit his £15,000 purse.

Anderson's claim to fame was that he was the first person to deck George Groves in the professional ranks back in 2010 on the David Haye vs John Ruiz undercard but gassed and got taken out himself. Anderson was set to fight Groves in a rematch in 2012 but Groves pulled out twice due to injuries so he vacated his British title. He beat a zombified Robin Reid for the vacant British title and then failed the drug test in that fight for Amphetamines.

Here is the Groves fight if you never saw it the fights in 2 parts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TlAcFDzxUg
