Isn't the mantra on this site: "Who cares how much money a fighter makes?" Why change it? I don't give a shhit how much he makes. It doesn't enrich me a penny. Stick to it guys.

Its not about how much money he makes but you already know that, the point is he was willing to fight for no pay as a professional to get to where he is and he had no way of knowing it would pay off like it did.

What Titan M said, plus... why wouldn't you want your favorite boxers to be paid well enough to at least get by? You do want them to keep fighting, right? Or do you not care if they go broke entertaining you?

Kovalev did what he had to do to make it in the sport. I respect him for that. He is not the first person to do it (most don't make it to the top like him) and won't be the last.

If he beats Hopkins, he should capitalize on his victory. He should forget about Adonis Stevenson. Stevenson has already turned himself into a has-been with his James Kirlkland-type behavior. Kovalev, if he beats Hopkins, should go for a big money fight against Jean Pacal in Canada or Froch in England or Chavez Jr.

Pascal seems like the only realistic out of that bunch... and he'll be too busy chasing Stevenson.

Don't know what's up or him after this

that's what happens when you knock dudes the hell out.

                  punchers sell.

punchers have always had an appeal to the layman, and they will continue to sell because of it.

Hard not to like this guy, he has worked so hard to get this opportunity, I wish him all the best he seems like a genuine humble nice man outside the ring. But f*** being in the ring with him! Hopefully The Alien can prove the doubters wrong, ONE MORE TIME!
