You can actually hear them in Spanish, telling their fighter to INTENTIONALLY step on his feet when throwing a right hand. Interpreters even say it word for word in English... (me and my Mexican friends laugh all the time watching it growing up).

I boxed as an amateur here in the UK and had quite a few bouts, I can guarantee hearing guys in the opposite corner telling their boy to push me, put up their forearms, use elbows etc. It's a part of boxing and wouldn't matter if referees were tougher, especially in the pro game, just look at the atrocious reffing during Hopkins/Murat.

And before anyone says "well in the US it don't happen" I've seen a fair few of the top US amateurs come here to the UK and I've seen them use dirty tactics first hand.
