Mayweather has the WBC/WBA world titles at welterweight and junior middleweight. Golovkin is willing to drop down to the junior middleweight limit of 154-pounds to fight Mayweather or even 155 so the middleweight belts could be at stake.

He said a "huge pay per view showdown". He hasn't seen what the two Maidana PPV's and Guerrero PPV did? How does he expect Golovkin to help sell the same or more than Maidana and Guerrero who have strong Hispanic following?

This fight would only gain Floyd respect from haters, for like a week after it's signed until they start talking about weight issues, Golovkin's age (Like Floyd is not old), GGG's terrible opposition pre-Floyd, and how Floyd can't beat GGG at the full 160 limit.
