Comments Thread For: Mundine: Clottey Loss Will Unleash My Eye of The Tiger!

Anthony Mundine plans to unleash his inner mongrel and killer instinct for his do-or-die contest with hard punching Sergey Rabchenko.

Knocked down five times in his last fight loss to Joshua Clottey, Mundine has worked on his defence for his November 12 bout with the WBC Silver light welterweight belt holder at Melbourne's Hisense Arena.

A win over Rabchenko from Belarus could potentially propel the 39-year-old Australian into a mandatory challenge against WBC super welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather - the opponent he wants the most.

LOL, in his mind he thinks he can get a shot at Floyd. He likes to talk too much. When he fought Clottey he had said that that was the most dangerous fight he has ever taken and now he said that he wasn't mentally there

Kind of hope Mundine wins this, why he left the big fights to so late in his career is beyond me but good luck to him.

He left them until late because he wasn't that good. As with all fighters, they are "protected" until they've been squeezed dry by their promoter, then they are cast to the wolves.

you fool ! It was his 10th pro fight having crossed over from rugby league . What knocked him out was in experience , in a fight he was winning up until that punch , which rendered him his conscious , due 1. Being hit on the temple , having rolled his shoulder a split second then turning into the punch & 2. Being completely gased . To think he almost beat a vey accomplished amateur star , & undefeated seasoned pro at the time , its evident you have Khow idea about boxing . I rest my case fool
