Ruslan Provodnikov (23-3, 16KOs) is scheduled to fight in Russia on November 28th in what is considered a stay-busy fight. There has been a lot of speculation over just who he would be facing in his homecoming. Offers had been made to the likes of Maurcio Herrera and Zab Judah but does it look like that 'the Siberian Rocky' will be facing the shopworn Jose Luis Castillo (66-12-1, 57KOs), as has been speculated?

Herrera said he was offered substantially less than Ruslan's side claims to come to Russia. Him saying that makes me question the claims about what other fighters were offered.

Castillo won't last too long to take any serious life threatening damage. Once he gets battered for a few, he will just go down from a body shot and just stay down. Probably try to get up at 9.8 and cry about the fight being stopped like the others have been doing as of late.
