Comments Thread For: Morales Hopes Pacquiao Avoids Mayweather Mistake

Former four division world champion Erik Morales faced Manny Pacquiao in three memorable fights. Morales won a twelve round decision in the first and lost the follow two meetings by knockout.

Morales hopes Pacquiao is not repeating the same mistake that he made in 2012. Prior to his fourth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, Pacquiao was calling for a super-fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. The unthinkable happened when Marquez knocked Pacquiao out in the sixth round.

People are gonna run with this now? It's false and Pacquiao looked completely set on taking Marquez out from the getgo.

Instead of the midget calling for a mayweather fight through the media. Why don't he just call bob arum if he really wants to fight mayweather

I disagree. Pac didn't lose because he overlooked Marquez. He just got caught with a punch he didn't see. That can happen to anybody. If the knockout didn't occur Pac would have definitely beaten Marquez. But he does need to focus on Algeri and worry about Floyd after the fight.

If that ko didn't happen nacho was on the verge of tossing the towel in, that first knockdown awoke a giant, PAC went into full on berserker mode and brought out the old PAC. He looked his best in that fight until the ko. He just got caught it happens. Morales is basically downgrading Jmm win, because before that it was morales who was the only Mexican to convincingly defeat PAC. Morales was the first to say jmmm was on pedis post fight and delete it.

i seriously doubt Pacquiao was thinking about Duck Boy when he fell asleep.

he was trying to take JMM head off and got hit with the same right hand he's been getting hit with for 3 previous fights
