  • Comments Thread For: Bradley: Mayweather-Pacquiao More Even, I Favor Floyd

Former two division world champion Timothy Bradley (31-1, 12KOs), who faces Manny Pacquiao twice, says a welterweight unification with Floyd Mayweather Jr. is now more of an evenly matched fight.

In the past, Bradley saw Mayweather having a clear edge in the contest. He now gives Pacquiao, who faces Chris Algieri on November 22 in Macau, a better shot to unseat the unbeaten boxer. Although he views the fight as a more evenly matched contest, he still sides with Mayweather to get the win.

Does anyone still have that radio interview where Floyd Sr said that he doesn't care what those other fighters say when Oscar, Hatton, Mosley, etc were all saying they would fave Floyd over Manny if they fought? Floyd Sr got mad and said they were trying to bait or trick his son into fighting Pacman so his son would get hurt like they did, that whole family is paranoid. Floyd sr even said Pac PRETENDED to get hurt by Margarito to the body to entice his son or trick him that he was weak or something to get Floyd to fight him.

That's because he hasn't face Floyd. Maidana said twice, I thought Floyd was better, he was surprised at how easier Floyd was than it looked from the outside. Maidana hit him at will, but with sparring gloves.

Bradley is also still bitter about the Pacquiao chapter of his life where he thought about suicide.

So this really doesn't mean anything.

Lol you can't answer the question because you know it's true..... your calling me a troll that's hilarious. Some of the stuff you say with regards to Golovkin and 'Andrea' is embarassing if it's not trolling.

To me, Tim is spot on, seriously. I see it the exact way. The fight was and is so interesting because of the tools that they both have that can potentially frustrate the other. I have always wanted this fight and still do.

Remember how Devon Alexander said Floyd has trouble with Black fighters or dosnt fight them? the reason is movement and rhythm. Pacquiao is like a black fighter, always on his toes, speed, fast feet, fast hands, Augustus was slow but Floyd said he was his toughest fight, if a slow awkward guy can give Floyd problems with winging punches how about Pac with his sharp lazer punches down the middle?

Pac has always presented a difficult task for Floyd, whenever you give Floyd foot movement he gets confused he is like a dumb dog, its why people believe he is the biggest con man or snake oil salesman in boxing, he had trouble with a tailormade Maidana because Maidana throws punches awkwardly and awkward angles. Floyd style is meant for Flat foot guys, Corley, and Judah don't have the same type of ferocity as Manny they fight hard for a few rounds gas out or give up. Pac doesn't give up, watch the Clottey fight, he wouldn't stop, he was like an army of ants trying to bust through little cracks, Pac was hitting Clottey trying to get through any crack in his defense, if Floyd covered up Pac will punch his side, the sid of his jaw, try to break down the middle, go for the kidneys, liver, etc.

It was always the match we wanted, but Floyd saw it as a huge gamble and doubted himself, he instead sells people his snake oil of TBE and the ones who buy it dont know **** about boxing and are suckers who believe him.

He is the biggest hype job in boxing history. picks and chooses, at least Pac is fighting Algieri who is not tailormade, Floyd hasn't fought a mover in ages.

If he at least fights Khan or Thurman I will give him props.
