Main Events CEO Kathy Duva will not take kindly to any excuses being presented with respect to the outcome of next month's unification between WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (25-0-1, 23KOs) and WBA/IBF champion Bernard "The Alien" Hopkins (55-6-2, 32KOs). The fight is set for November 8th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

There have been microscopes zeroing in on Hopkins' age. The near 50-year-old fighter is facing one of the most dangerous fighters in the sport. Hopkins' ability to continue winning titles and dominating fighters half his age has earned him the nickname of "The Alien."

I can't believe nobody found it weird how Hopkins acted to Pascal when Pascal wanted drug testing. At the press conference he even shoved Pascal just to get Pascal from stop asking him to take the test.

But everybody jumps allll over Pac... Yet nobody, not a damn soul (at least that I saw - and I used to post on the HBO facebook page), said a thing about Hopkins refusal to submit to ANY type of drug testing other than basic athletic commission.

I have no idea why boxers aren't pressing him about this - to take some sort of tests. It's not like Hopkins is a huge A-side or anything, and can't be touched. He needs the big names to in order for HBO, or Showtime to want to show his fights. He can't get away with just fighting anybody and getting paid for it.
